My Mom’s house eventually went through, so it’s across to Barmouth to help with the house move,
My Mom, who is approaching 79 in a few weeks, was approached with an unsolicited offer for her house in Fairbourne. She had been thinking of moving across to Barmouth for many years, so this was the impetus she needed.
As with many house sales during Covid, it dragged on and on. To the point whereshe put all of her belongings in storage and moved out of her house in Fairbourne in order to ensure the sale went through. So for the last 8 weeks she has been homeless, and has stayed at my house and my sisters houses on a weekly rotation.

As you will see from the photos the weather was fantastic, which made the view from her new house alll the more spectacular. All the normal jobs done,: furniture in roughly the right place, TVs working and tuned in, Broadband and phone working, PC and printer all back together, garden given a good spruce up (although much more to do).
It was great to see here in her new bungalow, and great to see my sisters and their family again. Another productive and enjoyable weekend.
